The Premier League Season will kick off again in August. New Zealand's Winston Reid will again be an anchor in the defence for West Ham.

Will Chris Wood join him in the top division? He was one of the top scorers in the Championship and a number of top flight clubs are rumoured to be looking at him.

Could he join Reid at West Ham?

Could he stay in the Championship and link up with his former Manager at Leeds Garry Monk

Elsewhere, in the Championship, Wood's New Zealand team mate Tommy Smith lines up for Ipswich.

Before the Premier League season kicks off, the All Whites will be competing in the Confederations Cup. New Zealand is drawn with hosts Russia, Portugal and Chile.

New Zealand finished its Champions Trophy with a disappointing loss against Bangladesh.

The British Open this year will be held at Royal Birkdale. On the coast just north of Liverpool, this seaside links will provide a magnificent setting for golf's oldest championship.

New Zealand's Michael Hendry will be competing in his first major this year after qualifying via a top 4 finish in the Mizuno Open in Japan.

In 2008, when Royal Birkdale last hosted the Open, it was won by Ireland's Padraig Harrington. That year, both New Zealand's Michael Campbell and David Smail competed.
